F&A Costs

DEMOS AI LAB partners with universities and research institutions.

We reimburse facilities and administrative costs at a maximum of 20% of total direct costs. The rate applies to every institution we fund, regardless of size, type, or federally negotiated rate, and is not negotiated project by project. DEMOS AI LAB F&A Cost Policy DEMOS-F&A-001 is effective as of July 2026.

Where DEMOS AI LAB is prime recipient on a federal award, subrecipient F&A is governed by the terms of that award and applicable federal regulation, which control over this policy.
