Brian Hibbeln

Director

Brian Hibbeln is a three-decade veteran of the Department of Defense and U.S. Intelligence Community who has spent his career operationalizing emerging technology for warfighters and intelligence operators. He served as Assistant Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Special Capabilities and was the founding Director of the DoD's Special Capabilities Office, where he led joint-capability transformation across a $2 billion portfolio. A former Chief Scientist at the National Reconnaissance Office and director of the Naval Postgraduate School's Remote Sensing Center managing over $8 billion in government contracts, he currently serves as General Partner at StealthPoint Ventures, Senior Advisor for Blackstone Private Equity, and Senior Fellow at the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies. He holds a BS from the U.S. Air Force Academy and a Master's in Physics from the Air Force Institute of Technology.

Dr. Joseph Felter

Director

Dr. Joseph Felter served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for South and Southeast Asia and is a retired U.S. Army Colonel, Ranger, and Special Forces officer with combat deployments to Panama, Iraq, and Afghanistan — where he reported directly to Generals McChrystal and Petraeus. At Stanford, he directs the Gordian Knot Center for National Security Innovation, co-created Hacking for Defense, and holds research appointments at the Hoover Institution and the Center for International Security and Cooperation. He holds a BS from West Point, an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, and a PhD from Stanford.

Vikram Mittal

Director

A Marshall Scholar and combat veteran, Dr. Vikram Mittal is an associate professor of Systems Engineering at the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve assigned to the 75th Innovation Command. His research spans combat simulation, model-based systems engineering, and robotics, and he is a regular Forbes contributor covering aerospace and defense. Previously, he served as a senior mechanical engineer at the Charles Stark Draper Laboratory in the Vehicles and Robotics Group. He holds a BS in Aeronautics from Caltech, an MS in Engineering Sciences from Oxford, and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.

Jaime Fonalledas

Jaime Fonalledas is Executive Vice President of Empresas Fonalledas — Puerto Rico's largest privately-held conglomerate — where he leads operations spanning the Caribbean and Latin America. A Wharton-trained executive and attorney, he brings multi-generational enterprise leadership and deep expertise in scaling businesses across diverse regulatory and cultural markets. His experience serving millions of Spanish-speaking customers positions him to guide DEMOS's expansion into Latin America's six-hundred-million-person market.

Roberto Corretjer

Director

Roberto Corretjer is a corporate attorney, social entrepreneur, and co-founder of Omnia Economic Solutions — Puerto Rico's only full-service economic development firm. He has managed over $500 million in foreign direct investment, overseen more than a dozen corporate transitions and market entries, and helped create over 200 jobs across multiple jurisdictions. A leading corporate and real estate attorney in Puerto Rico, he has negotiated settlements for some of the largest construction companies and developers in the region and brings unique access to investment opportunities across Latin America and the Caribbean. He holds a Master's degree from Northwestern University and is licensed in Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico.

Ben Diehl

Ben "Billions" Diehl is a three-time Grammy-winning producer and audio engineer whose credits include Beyoncé's Lemonade and hit records for The Weeknd, DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne, and Maroon 5. A graduate of Full Sail University with degrees in audio engineering and business, he built his career from the ground up — starting as an intern at Miami's Circle House Studios and becoming one of the most sought-after producers in the industry. He brings to DEMOS deep music industry knowledge and relationships, technical audio expertise, and experience scaling a personal brand into a global enterprise.

Ted Lavarias

Ted Lavarias is a full-stack software developer and Linux systems specialist with over two decades of experience building production web applications. A former cybersecurity associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he led QA for internal audits of Fortune 500 companies managing over $3 trillion in assets and performed Sarbanes-Oxley compliance work across Unix, Windows, and mainframe platforms. He has since built production Django applications serving industrial manufacturers, municipal governments, and engineering firms — systems that run on Linux servers under real operational constraints. A U.S. Naval Academy alumnus and Rutgers University computer science graduate who earned magna cum laude honors, he is also one of the top-rated computer science tutors in the country with over 4,000 hours of instruction and a perfect 5.0 rating. He brings to DEMOS deep expertise in Python, Linux infrastructure, and the practical engineering of web applications that work at scale — along with a rare ability to translate complex technical systems for non-technical teams.
